Word, is what we have in bible. Which we strongly believe
are the living words of God which talks about life, in our daily life routine. And
it teaches us a way of living not a way of religion or rules or rituals.
I was listening to one song written and sung by one of our
friend Jessica Cress from USA. This song
made me think about the word God gave us. There is one line which caught my
attention and made me think. This line talks about promises, covenant, comfort,
Love, security, peace and hope.
“You gave me a word, I
won’t let it go”
(full song link: " See the sign "
)
This is like God you gave me a word which gives me peace,
makes me feel relaxed from all burden and makes me feel that God the creator of
everything loves me. Isn’t that so beautiful? So why should we let it go??
When we have this word (bible) with us which is the key to
the kingdom, we should be spending time to read more so God can talk directly
to us through these words instead of talking to us indirectly. Because when we
are not close to the word of God He tries to reach us through other things
around us in this world. But we already have His spoken words so we should be
taking advantage of this.
So from this line of the song, we can relate many things because
it talks about “word” and we know the things we see, explore and the life we
live; feel is created out of these living word of God. He just spoke these
words of creation; that was, is and forever with us.
Some references:

creation – Genesis 1
2.Word of covenant – Genesis 12

Insight – God promised to bless Abram and make him famous, but there
was one condition. Abram had to do what God wanted him to do. This meant
leaving his home and friends and traveling to a new land where God promised to
build a great nation from Abram’s family. Abram obeyed, walking away from his
home for God’s promise of even greater blessings in the future. God may be
trying to lead you to a place of greater service and usefulness for him. Don’t
let the comfort and security of your present position make you miss God’s plan
for you.
3.Word of Joy - Psalm 119:2; Philippians 1:25
Faith in God brings happiness, for God has promised that when we truly seek him, we will surely find him (Jer. 29:13-14).

6. Word of
salvation – Romans 10:9
7. Word of strength – Philippians 4:13,
Acts 4:12
( Although it may sound exclusive, the Bible’s claim of “one way” to salvation is actually an expression of the grace and kindness of God.)

whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We can pull more and more word of life from this treasure God gave us.
Hope to see more inputs on this.
Blessings to all…MONU
I will read this post again and look at the scriptures next time Manasseh. What you wrote up top makes me think "Faith" because we believe by faith and we hold on and we don't let go by faith. Faith pleases God. Its good when we decide to believe, because when we do we receive Him, Jesus, and His peace which passes all understanding. I also love Jessy's song :)
