1Peter 5:9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are under going the same kind of sufferings.
We all suffer at times. Whether it be big or small.  Openly or privately. We all do. This is where we have to cling to our faith. Stand on His word. Trust and believe, even when you cant see your way out, or feel His presence, because the pain can be so deep. Just know that when this happens it is the flesh. You have to praise Him regardless. Because when we praise Him we are in worship. When we are in worship, we are in spirit. God is Spirit. That is where we find Him. Seek Him with all your heart.
Just as Jesus died and sacrificed himself. We will also on some levels and some places. God may not get us out of the trouble, but He will give us strength to get through it. Trust God wholly and completely when we are going down a path that we don't want to. It may hurt and be very uncomfortable, but we don't know God's plan for our life. Don't get offended by your troubles. Praise Him for strength. Trust that He will get you through this. He has been doing this for longer than we can imagine. He has never broken a promise.  Now for the second part.
1Peter 5:10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
I can't speak for anyone else, but that gives me great pleasure. Knowing no matter what I go through big or small, not just me, but everyone. He will save us. He will stop the suffering. It wont last to long. He not only saves us from it, but picks us up and restores us. makes us stronger. How awesome is this mighty God we serve, and love. Who is like him? He is the greatest. and here is another wonderful promise to share.
Jeremiah 29:11-12 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future. Then you will call upon me and come pray to me, and I will listen to you.
Did you really hear all that? Not only will he allow us to suffer, so we can grow and trust, but he heals us from it all, Gives us strength. Also being the wonderful Father he is, he tells us. I know you future, and it is not to harm you, but prosper you. Not just with finance..spiritually, emotionally, physically. What ever we need, go to Him in prayer. He will listen. He said it, and he is never wrong. Just wanted to share this, it was on my heart. Please also don't forget Israel is suffering with us. We must continue to pray for them. God listens. Love, Nikki

  1. Hi Sister Nikki,
Thank you for the wonderful post here. Thank you for reminding us that we are not alone no matter how much we may feel that way. We have brothers and sisters around the world going through the same sufferings, and many worse. We have Jesus who understands our suffering and he is our God and helps us and has good plans for us. It is good to be reminded that these things will pass and we will have peace from our sufferings in the Lord. It is good to remind us that God will give us strength to make it through. I appreciate all you wrote here, this message is for me and for all of us.
One thing I have noticed in my own walk with the Lord is that sometimes by doing my own will, doing my own thing for awhile I can lose sight of what is important and not hear the Lord calling me. When we suffer we are reminded that there are more important things in this world besides our own desires. When we suffer inside and we feel pain then we can think of the pain that Jesus took for us and realize some of his pain in our own hearts. Sometimes we will say that it was good the Lord took us through such difficulties, because he softened our hearts, made us turn to him and caused us to look at and do what is important. Keep our focus on the Lord and make him the center of our lives.
Thank you again for this post. love you :)
